MAY SHOW
APAC’s annual May Show is held at the Abilene Convention Center and features all Musical Theatre and Dance classes. May Show 2027 is set for Saturday, May 15th at 1pm with Tech and Dress Rehearsals Thursday, May 13th and Friday, May 14th. Tech and dress rehearsal schedules, plus show order, are posted here by April 10th each year prior to show.
MAY SHOW CAST
All students enrolled in dance and musical theatre classes are featured in this annual year-end production held at the Abilene Convention Center, 1100 North 6th Street.
MAY SHOW FEE
$45 May Show Fee is collected for every May Show performer and is due with September’s tuition. This fee assists APAC in paying for the increased rental expense of the Convention Center.
MAY SHOW COSTUMES
$75 costume fee for each May Show performer, per costume is due with October’s tuition. April-early May costumes are received along with detailed info about hair, make-up, shoes, tights, name of the piece, instructor contact, etc. Please take care of your investment by waiting until Convention Center rehearsals to wear those costumes. Please label all costume pieces and shoes with student’s name.

MAY SHOW TICKETS
Payment options explained at the bottom of this page. Using the Convention Center’s online ticketing (provided payment link) will cost more. Read details below to save money when purchasing May Show tickets. Tickets available for purchase beginning May 1st - Intermission on Show Day. Parent volunteers staying in the dressing rooms during the show to assist do not need to purchase a ticket. See Lanie for your May Show comp.
TECHNICAL REHEARSAL
Students may leave once all of their pieces have rehearsed on stage. Preschoolers do not attend Tech Rehearsal and Grades K-2 do not wear costumes at Tech Rehearsal.
DRESS REHEARSAL
Costumes, make-up, hair, shoes, accessories are worn at Dress Rehearsal.
SHOW DAY
May Show is approximately 2.25 hours including intermission.
